Why Choose Us?

Experior Data is the surgeon, not the general practitioner

If you need surgery wouldn't you go to a surgeon rather than a general practitioner? Of course you would, because surgeons are specialists in their fields. They perform surgeries every day, and when you do one thing every day you get pretty good at it. In fact, you get very good at it.

Although Experior doesn't perform surgeries (we leave that up to professionals), we do know data encryption well because that's all we do. We stick to what we know and do best and choose best of breed products. Deciding to implement encryption technologies recommended in section 13402 of the HITECH Act within ARRA and HIPAA regulations is an important step in protecting your organization from breach notification requirements. Wouldn’t you want experts to handle the implementation?

Experior is also fond of systems and processes to ensure that your deployment goes smoothly. This doesn’t mean that we’re not flexible. Our engagements are custom tailored to your needs. But we use systems and processes to ensure our customers obtain the most value from their investment in encryption technology products and services.

Experior also takes the time to review products that make up the encryption ecosystem, saving you time and resources from doing your own research and testing. The products and services we provide have been tested to work with one another. Maintaining product standards is what enables us to be specialists in what we do.

Choose a platform, not a point solution

There are many security products on the market. At times it may seem easier to purchase a “point solution”, meaning a single product that solves one problem. It’s a quick fix to a particular problem. The challenge becomes in managing and training staff on many different point solutions that solve many different problems.

Experior believes in the platform concept –a suite of products consisting of a single management application that distributes policy and settings to all the users. This eliminates human error and enables management to think strategically about the security and data encryption policies being contemplated. The goal of implementing platform solutions is to simplify management, reduce time, and cost of supporting multiple standalone products.

The HITECH Act, as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), encourages the mitigation of threats to unsecured protected health information (PHI) by requiring various levels of notification following a breach of unsecured protected health information (PHI). If PHI is rendered unusable, unreadable, or indecipherable to unauthorized individuals then such information is not unsecured PHI, and therefore may not be subject to breach notifications directed by the HITECH Act.
